SHO Community Auction 2024!

Our second annual fundraiser was a success! SoHum community members braved the storm to come out and support our work. Champagne brunch exquisitely and lovingly prepared by Babette Bach. We offered mimosas, Bloody Mary's, and excellent conversation between friends new and old and our neighbors.
We doubled our efforts from last year of almost $5,000. This will directly go to help Southern Humboldt's most vulnerable population of our unhoused / unsheltered neighbors. There is no way we could have achieved this glorious day without the help of our many donors, community members, organizations and Friends.
The highlight of the event was KMUD's very own Lauren Schmitt who made this an event worth attending. Incredible! So charismatic as our auctioneer and made the event fun, light hearted, sincere and the amazing memory it was.
Thank you to all of SHO's hard-working volunteers, Board Members and Sponsors for making this a truly memorable occasion. The one we hope to replicate, if not expand on, next year. See you there!
